Grief Enters the Classroom

Many students do experience grief during their school years. Grief issues such as grieving styles, disenfranchised grief and re-grieving present unique challenges and opportunities in our work with bereaved kids. Within the framework of contemporary theories of grief, this session will include a discussion of these concepts, as well as practical strategies which school counsellors may easily and readily use with grieving students.
